We wanted to share a recent email that we received from Lifetime adoptive parents Roger and Tricia. They have a yearly tradition of photographing their daughter with their pet rabbits each Easter:
“Dear Libby,
Happy Easter! It is so fun that Katie is old enough to be excited about and remind us that we need to take pictures of her with her bunny to send you for Easter!
She loves to look at our profile to see the picture that you requested we take of all of our rabbits lined up in a row. It is a fun memory and a reminder to us about how much you cared about every little detail of our profile which helped lead us to the perfect match with Katie’s birth mom.
Katie is six years old now, loves kindergarten and is reading up a storm! She stays very active with running, riding her bike, swim team and ice-skating lessons. She loves attending “Sunday Church”, playing with her friends and is learning to play the piano. She keeps us very busy and we wouldn’t want it any other way!
We love Easter for another reason also, in that we get to celebrate Katie’s spiritual birthday as she accepted Jesus three years ago this season!
We will be eternally grateful for all of the love, care and prayer that you put into every little detail of our profile and adoption match. We appreciate everything you and the rest of the Lifetime staff has done for our family and we pray often for each of you, the adoptive families and especially the birthmoms.
