A Letter from Brad & Cristin
Hello from Kansas! We are Brad and Cristin, and we’re an adventurous and active couple whose lives are centered around faith and family. We enjoy being outdoors, hiking, playing sports, sitting out on the porch together, and hosting friends and family. We can’t wait to share all of this and create new memories with our child one day. We are open to photos, letters, and planned visits to the extent you are comfortable with. We hope to get to know you and hear about the life you hope for your child.
We met working for a summer camp for kids and adults with special needs. Just a few short years later, we were getting married in a thunderstorm at our outdoor wedding. The start of many adventures together! We are best friends, partners, and love to adventure through life together. A few years into marriage, we learned that we would not be able to have biological children, but we are so grateful that God has opened the doors for us to become first-time parents through adoption!
We love our city, our church, and how close we are to our family and friends. We also love to travel and explore together too. So, we try to live a good balance of enjoying our home and also exploring new places. Our time is often spent on family hikes, hosting friends to watch our favorite sports teams, or enjoying a simple movie night at home. Several times a year, we plan a trip to explore a National Park or vacation with family.
We look forward to taking our child on these adventures with us and watching them grow up surrounded by family and friends.
Cristin is generous, hospitable, and selfless and will be a spectacular mom! Cristin enjoys slow mornings that begin with a fresh cup of coffee on the couch. She loves a good hike and hosting family or friends for any occasion. Cristin currently works from home in marketing and looks forward to having the flexibility to be at home more with our child. She has a background as a Child Life Specialist that has equipped her with a tremendous capacity to support children and their families emotionally. Cristin’s looking forward to baby snuggles and making new family traditions with our child.
Brad is an amazing man, husband, and friend. And he’s going to be the best dad! He is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the Director of his clinic. He is a great leader and passionate about helping people learn to care for their bodies. He is a hard worker, intentional, and a family man. Brad always keeps Cristin laughing and has a way of making everyday life more fun. Brad loves to be playing sports, especially soccer, or doing something active together. He is most looking forward to one day being able to share his passion for sports and embarking on many new adventures together with our child.
Family is essential to us, and we are thankful to have great relationships with both sides of our family. Brad’s family lives within 15 minutes of our home, and we get together almost weekly for family hikes or dinners. Cristin’s family lives in Texas, where she grew up, and we take any chance we get to see them and go horseback riding, fishing and have lots of playtime with all of our nieces and nephews. Our family is a great support system for us, and we know that we can call them with any need. They are so excited about our adoption and are ready to welcome our baby into the family!
We live in a four-bedroom home that we love. It is warm and cozy, with lots of room for playing games and spending time together. One of our favorite rooms is the screened-in porch. We love to share family dinners out there or sit out in the rocking chairs. We live on a cul-de-sac of a safe, family-friendly neighborhood in a great suburban area. Living just outside the city, we feel like we have the best of both worlds, enjoying the perks of a fun and lively city while also living in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by the best neighbors, with multiple parks and a highly regarded elementary school within walking distance.
We promise to love your child unconditionally and always speak about you with honor and dignity. We are open to letters, pictures, and planned visits at the level you are most comfortable with. We promise to raise your child in a Christ-centered home surrounded by our family and friends who we know will love and care for them as much as we will. We will give your child sweet memories through traveling, growing up close to cousins and grandparents, and having opportunities to pursue the things they are interested in. We promise that your child will always know they are deeply loved and valued. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We look forward to learning about you!

Hiking, playing and watching sports, Walks through the neighborhood, Board Games, Movie Nights, Dinners on the screened-in porch.
Our lives, our marriage, and our family are truly centered around our faith. Prayer and reading the Bible are a part of our daily rhythms. We love our church and the community it has provided for us. We can’t wait to teach our child about how loved they are and what a gift they are to us.
Harvey is our two-year-old miniature golden retriever. He is playful and friendly with everyone he meets. We love to take him hiking with us and to play at the dog park that is right down the road. We can’t wait to watch him become best buds with our child one day.
|Our Favorite Tradition
One of our favorite family traditions is to go to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri every Christmas season. Each year, this theme park puts up millions of Christmas lights for people to come to see. Since Brad was a little boy, he and his family would go see the lights, watch the shows, and ride the Christmas caroling train through the park. It is a tradition we plan to continue for our family as well. We can’t wait to one day introduce our child to the magic of Silver Dollar City at Christmas time.
