A Letter from Joshua & Megan
Hello from Oregon! We’re excited to grow our family through adoption again! Adoption is already a big part of our family—Joshua and his siblings were adopted, Megan’s father was adopted, and we were blessed to adopt our daughter too. We have always felt called to adopt, even before learning we were unable to have children.
We are an active couple, with a big loving family, and we’re ready to adopt a boy or girl of any racial background. We look forward to getting to know you and welcome an open adoption, if that is what you’d like. Thank you for considering our family for your baby!
About Us
We met online and have made a happy, stable, active life together. Our friends describe us as fun, helpful, outgoing, trustworthy, faithful and hardworking. We love our big family holidays and yearly vacation to the coast where we rent a big house for the whole family to enjoy the beach together. As our children grow up we’re excited about the new traditions we’ll create too. We enjoy going to church and giving back to help kids in our community.

About Megan
Joshua says: Megan is loyal and caring, always going above and beyond to make others feel loved. She gives her all in everything she does. Megan loved being a teacher before she became a mom. Now she uses her teaching experience to help Grace learn and grow. Megan is the kind of mother who will always stand up for her children and teach them to be strong and confident.
Megan enjoys:
• Hiking or working in the yard
• Baking
• Singing and music (Fun Fact: She used to sing on the worship team at church!)
• Serving as Chairman of the School Board
About Joshua
Megan says: Joshua is caring and loving, with a heart to serve others. He is wise and encouraging with a positive attitude and a big smile. He’s compassionate and always willing to help. Joshua takes pride in hard work and doing his best at whatever job or task he does. His heart for others makes him a caring and involved father who is nurturing and loving. He’s excited to teach our children life skills and sharing things he’s learned from farming work he used to do.
Joshua enjoys:
• Hunting, fishing, & camping
• Wood working
• Playing the mandolin
• Cooking or barbecuing
• Mentoring kids
• Volunteering with EMS and the fire department
Our Daughter
We adopted our daughter, Grace, as a newborn and it has been amazing becoming her parents! We love bedtime stories and watching her grow and learn so fast. She’s a spunky, curious, active little girl who likes to be outside or making people laugh. Grace loves animals and has a loving, caring heart. She will be an amazing big sister!
Open Adoption: We keep in touch with Grace’s birth grandparents and have enjoyed visits with them when possible. They hold a special place in our hearts.
Our Home in Oregon
We live in a 3 bedroom house in town on an acre of property. We only have one neighbor close to us and we love the privacy while still being close to everything. We’re excited about projects we have planned to update the house and the yard.
Where we live there are many wildlife parks to hike and streams to fish. Our home is in central Oregon, and we love living near our family, the quietness of the outdoors, and our friendly community.
Our Promise
We promise to raise your child to be a person of strong faith, to love him or her unconditionally, and to become confident in who they are as individuals. We will teach him or her to love and serve others by our example, and to offer your child the best life we can, while also teaching the value of hard work. We promise to share our family’s adoption story as this child grows up, and to talk about how special you are to us.
We will honor our commitment to stay in touch after the adoption, if you want ongoing contact. You will always be spoken of out of love and respect in our family. We hope to get to know you and the wishes you have for your child’s future. Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents!

| Adoption in our family | We know first-hand how special adoption is because much of our family was adopted! Joshua is one of 11 children who were all adopted, and Megan’s father, uncle, aunt, and cousin were adopted as well. And of course, so close to our hearts is the adoption of our daughter. We are excited to continue growing our family through adoption! | |
