collage of photos of a young coupleGrant and Alison are an active, loving and family-oriented Christian couple who enjoy the outdoors, sports and playing together as a family. They’ve been married for 10 years, and became first-time parents three years ago through the adoption of their daughter.

They’re both athletes, and enjoy playing basketball, soccer and going for runs. Lots of time is spent in their pool, playing in our backyard, and getting together with friends and family as often as possible.

Grant works as a Director of Engineering and Alison is a first grade teacher. About his wife, Grant says, “Alison has always been an incredible wife, but seeing her thrive as a mother has made my love for her even stronger. Alison is kind and thoughtful, patient and smart, and is a beautiful person inside and out.” And Alison had these words to share about her husband: “Grant is a loving and thoughtful husband, and a fun and devoted father. He makes us feel secure about ourselves and confident in our future…I love seeing Grant leave for the office as a professional and return home as a silly, fun dad—ready to slide down the slide head first, or splash around in puddles when it rains.”

They live in Oregon in a four-bedroom home. It sits on a large piece of property with a fully fenced backyard. Their backyard has a large grassy area, a swimming pool (safely surrounded by a fence), and a swing set where the kids can play.

Grant and Alison promise to provide a warm, loving and stable home for your child to grow up and feel safe in. They promise your child will always know about your love for him or her. They’re open to sharing letters, pictures and annual visits with you if that is something you would want as well.
