Hello! We are so grateful you’re here! We met at church four years ago, instantly connecting on common things, like our faith, our heart for volunteering, our love for the outdoors, and the importance of family. After one date of putt-putt and dinner, we fell in love pretty quickly. Raising a family together has been our dream. We’ve been through challenges having a child biologically, and adoption, to us, is an answer to prayer. It’s exciting to be on this path to becoming first-time parents!
It would be an honor to get to know you, however you’re comfortable, and explore the possibilities of what adoption could mean for all of us.
About Us
We have dedicated much of our lives to serving children through youth ministry, education, and other volunteer opportunities. As hopeful parents, we’re excited to share opportunities for a child to grow in our Christian faith, and to develop his or her own interests and talents.
Together we enjoy:
• Teaching Sunday School & serving on the worship team at church
• Volunteering for charities and missions
• Long bike rides or hikes
• Friday night movies
• Grilling out with family
• Hosting our niece and nephew for a weekend sleepover
• Bible study and small group
• Watching or attending sports of ALL kinds
• Jigsaw puzzles and games (we love Yahtzee and Skip Bo!)
Meet Laura
I am a College Professor of Communication.
According to Aaron: Laura is encouraging, fun, loving, and thoughtful. She has a big heart! My wife will be a loving mother, supportive of our child’s creativity and strengths, and a natural teacher who will play right beside him or her.
Laura enjoys:
Writing: Letters to friends, personal journaling, or essays for work
Art: Crafts, painting or sketching, and scrapbooking
Volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters and a healthcare organization
Meet Aaron
I work from home in finance for a major aerospace company.
According to Laura: Aaron is funny, giving, attentive, and helpful. He loves to try new things, and kids gravitate to him because he’s fun too. Aaron will be a nurturing, caring, responsible dad.
Aaron enjoys:

Our Home in Ohio
We live in the middle of Ohio, where it’s a cross between suburban and country life. Right now we live in a great little condo, while we search for the right home to buy for our future family. Our neighborhood is quiet, with sidewalks for walking, and a community pool that is rarely crowded. We love living across the street from a nature preserve, and being just minutes from a local school, our church, and shopping or restaurants. There’s a bike path and a beautiful arboretum nearby too.
Our Family
We both come from families with three children (Aaron has a brother and a sister, and Laura has two brothers!). Our parents all live in Ohio, along with all of our siblings. Together we have three nieces and one nephew. Aaron’s family attends church with us. We love to take road trips to see everyone for holidays, or fun occasions in between.
Our Promise
We take our commitment to you and your child, through this adoption, very seriously, and will always put him or her first. Our faith will be at the core of everything we do as parents. We promise to provide a healthy, nurturing life, where your child will feel accepted, fully loved, and supported.
We also want to honor our connection with you and will work toward creating an ongoing and meaningful relationship, if you want to stay in touch.

| What we value | We’re both devoted to faith and living a life that is centered on serving the good or helping others. It’s important to us that we make time for close relationships. We love to do things outdoors and cannot wait to go on adventures with our future child. As parents we will be most excited for simple things: baking cookies together, going to the zoo, and roasting marshmallows by campfire. | |
