Hello from the Sunshine State-Florida! We feel so blessed to be on this adoption journey and are so excited to expand our family through adoption. We are a loving, joyful, family of 3 and our daughter is ecstatic about becoming a big sister. Our family enjoys spending time together by having game nights, movie nights, and doing activities outdoors. Church is a big part of our lives and so is our extended family.

About Us
We met at our first job, Publix, while we were in High School. We have now been married for 15 years. We are truly best friends and life-long partners. We have a 13-year-old daughter who we love sharing life’s adventures with. We always wanted a big family to love, but due to complications at birth we are unable to have future biological children. We knew God had a plan and we are so grateful that He has led us to grow our family through adoption.
We enjoy church, movie nights, cooking meals at home, and spending time with our extended family and friends. We love being outdoors in nature kayaking or walking on nature trails. We love to laugh! One of our favorite things to do is to wake up on Saturday mornings and cook a big breakfast, then spend time eating together in our pajamas before starting the day. We look forward to welcoming a child into our lives to love and share all of these precious moments with.
About Nikki (written by Chas)
Nikki has a kind heart and a great love for people and animals. Nikki and her family grew up strong in Christian faith. She is the one that led me to Jesus, and for that I will be forever thankful. She is always happy and loves to laugh even if it is at one of my dad jokes.

-Soaking in our hot tub in the backyard
Nikki looks forward to expanding our family like we always dreamed of. Her favorite thing in life is being a mom. She is excited to teach our child to walk, talk, ride a bike, colors, shapes, numbers, songs, and so much more. She will also teach them about Jesus and about how much He loves them.
About Chas (written by Nikki)
Chas is the most supportive, loving, caring, husband and father. He is strong in his faith and a great role model in our home. He always makes sure to be present and active in our family life. He gets along with everyone, has a great sense of humor, and is a big kid at heart. We call him the “King of Dad Jokes” because we could write a book he has so many! Chas has worked in the medical field for over 20 years as a paramedic and now as a cardiovascular tech. His medical knowledge comes in handy at home!

He is so excited to share many everyday experiences with our child, like learning how to ride a bike, playing sports, baking and cooking, and going on outdoor adventures.
Our Family
Our daughter, Jayla, is 13. Fun Fact: Jayla and Nikki share a birthday!
Jayla has the biggest heart and is kind, funny, creative, and is strong in her faith. She is a lover of all animals, volleyball, art, fashion and interior design. Jayla goes to a Christian school and plays on the volleyball team. She loves to take care of and play with our pets. We have a hound/pointer mix dog named Sadie and a bearded dragon named Reggie.
We are so blessed to have a large, loving extended family. We are very close and spend a lot of time together at family events, whether it is getting together at someone’s house or going to the park. This time together is always full of so much love and laughter. They are so excited to be on this journey with us and to welcome a child into our family.
Our Home In Sunny Florida
We live in a beautiful community close to the West coast of Florida. We are not far from beautiful beaches and the tourist attractions that Florida is known for. Our home is a 4-bedroom, 2-story home, on a cul-de-sac street surrounded by beautiful nature. It is light and bright and has the coziest feel. Most days we see deer, turkeys, hawks, birds, and turtles go by. Our community is an active family community with a clubhouse and lots of great amenities for adults and children, such as a clubhouse with a resort style pool and splash pad, dock for fishing, lakes to kayak, playground, etc. They have family focused events multiple times a month that bring the community together and keep families active. We love to take family walks and watch the sun set over one of the many lakes. We have the most amazing sunsets!
Our Promise

We promise to raise your child in a Christian home where we will instill in them the values of love, kindness and guide them on the path of following Jesus. We promise to always be open about your child’s story and the adoption journey that led us all to each other. We promise to respect, cherish, and love, not only your child, but you as well.

| Our Pets | We love our pets! Our dog Sadie is a big, goofy, sweetheart. She loves to play fetch with tennis balls in the backyard. She loves to be lazy and cuddle. We enjoy taking her on walks and car rides. Our bearded dragon's name is Reggie. He is very photogenic for holiday photo shoots. Our daughter loves to take him on walks in a see-through backpack so he can soak up the sun. | |
| Our Extended Family | Family means so much to us! Our family is large and extremely close. We are blessed that many of them live close to us and that we are able to get together often. Nikki has a very close relationship with her parents. She talks to her mom multiple times daily and we see Nikki's parents a few times a week. Nikki has 2 brothers and Chas has 3 brothers. | Our Childcare Plans | Nikki will be a stay-at-home mom once we adopt. Chas is off from work on weekends and one day each week, so we are excited to have ample time for family bonding and creating lasting memories together. | |
