A Letter from Christian & Michelle
Howdy from Texas! Thank you for taking the time to get to know our family. We have been married for almost 13 years after meeting in college. Our family loves to be outside, spending time with grandparents and family, and playing games. We have 3 sweet boys, but due to medical reasons during pregnancy, we cannot have any more children. Over the past several years, we have felt God has shown us that adoption is the way to grow our family. We feel that our family has an incredible amount of love still to give, and we would all welcome your child into our home and hearts! We would like to have you included in seeing them grow with an open adoption.
Our Story
We have been friends for 15 years, since enjoying laughs together in a chemistry class in college. We always knew we wanted a big family and started living that dream with our 3 boys. We truly feel in our hearts that our family is not done growing. Our shared Christian faith is a huge part of our relationship, and we are involved in our church throughout the week.
We love to:
- Hike with our dog
- Walk or bike the neighborhood
- Deer lease or beach trips
- Firepit (s’mores!)
- Play games- Sequence, LCR, Dominos, Sorry, etc.
- Play sports together (throw a ball or play a soccer game)
- Make blanket forts
Taco Tuesdays and movie night Fridays are staples in our home. We are a close drive to the beach and meet up with family there annually. We make sure to stay connected with each other through dates and a short trip, for just the two of us, every year while the kids enjoy some time with grandparents.
Meet Christian...by Michelle
Christian is my best friend. He has so much ambition and the best sense of humor. He works as a doctor and has an admirable passion for medicine. He serves our country in the National Guard Army Reserves and is the best role model for our children. Christian always makes each of our kids feel heard and loves them so fiercely. He also makes sure each of our children knows what it means to have a relationship with God by word and example.

Christian is an amazing husband and father, and I know he will fully embrace our next child with the same endless love and support.
Meet Michelle...by Christian
Michelle exudes joy and finds the best in every situation. She is a nurse but has chosen to stay home with our kids. While the kids are at school, she records audiobooks for Audible. She is the most loving and invested mom, always ensuring each of our children feel important. She’s involved in the church’s special needs ministry and pushes me to grow in my faith.
Michelle loves to:

- Read
- Travel
Michelle is a constant source of love and encouragement for the kids and me. I know that she will bring these same qualities to our next child’s life.
Our Family
Our children Jackson (9), Connor (7) and Grant (5) are such blessings! They play so well together and lift each other up. There is no doubt that the special bond they share with each other will be extended to our next child. We also have 2 dogs and 2 outdoor cats who will be fuzzy playmates.
All of our kids play piano, along with exploring their own interests. Jackson is a Boyscout who loves to do Lego sets. He hopes to teach his little sibling to walk and one day ride a bike. Connor loves all sports, especially football. He wants to teach his youngest sibling to do math because it’s his favorite, and encourage her. Grant loves to ride his scooter and is in a ninja class at the gym. He can’t wait to teach his baby sibling to say words! Our extended family is waiting with open arms for a new member to join the family too.
Home Sweet Texas
We live in a large 4-bedroom home on a cul-de-sac with plenty of space to grow our family. We have a good size, fenced in backyard and a rock garden for playing, as well as a pool for hot days. Our house also backs up to a state forest, so we have easy access to explore and hike. We live in the suburbs with tons of parks, children’s museums, a great local library and easy access to the exciting culture downtown and the beach. The schools in our area are some of the best in Texas. Our neighborhood is full of growing families who we play with outside often. We are surrounded by good friends and most of our extended family is under an hour away. We absolutely love our home and its location. There is no limit to the interests your child can explore in our area as they grow.
Our Promise
We promise to love your child completely and unconditionally. We promise to provide your child with a safe, stable home filled with laughter, endless support, and a love for learning. We promise to teach your child of the love of God and what a gift your child is to this world. Our family places a high priority on being kind and respectful towards each other, and we promise to extend that same gift to both you and your baby.

| Our Pets | We have 4 pets! We have a little chihuahua mix who is a rescue pup named Felix, and a black lab named Oakley. Oakley loves to go on walks in the woods with us and she loves to be in the mix with the neighborhood kids when we are all playing. Felix is the ultimate lap dog. We call him our "therapy dog" because if any of the kids take a tumble, they need an ice pack and Felix. We also have 2 outdoor cats who sleep in our temperature-controlled garage. They are the cuddliest and love to rub up on anyone who comes by. | |
| Our Faith | Our Christian faith is a huge part of our relationship and child rearing. Your child will definitely know the love of Christ in our home through our words and actions. We all attend church and are in a midweek small group. Our kids enjoy the children's ministry, and we serve in different areas of the church throughout the year. We talk to our kids about God and their relationship with Jesus, and your child will know what a precious gift they are as a creation of God. | |
| The Great Outdoors | We really love to be outside and experience nature. We are avid hunters and love to go to the deer lease often to play in the woods, shoot BB guns and fish. We have a garden on the side of our house. As soon as it's warm enough, you will find us in our pool and grilling. We feel that in order to focus on things like schoolwork, piano and other sedentary tasks, kids have to get energy out, and the best way to do that is playing outside! Even splashing in puddles after a storm makes a rainy day more fun. | |
