A Letter from Scott & Elizabeth
Greetings from Idaho! We feel truly blessed to become first-time parents through adoption. Being outdoors and spending time with friends and family are some of our favorite things to do and we are excited to open our home, teach our faith, and share the love with your child. We want to share our knowledge and put emphasis on the value of education. We look forward to creating memories to last a lifetime and pass on our family traditions. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us!
Our Story
We first met when Elizabeth was starting college and instantly hit it off. While she was trying to decide what career path she wanted to pursue, Scott was busy buying an old home and working to remodel it to his future plans. Eight years later, a college graduation, and a beautifully remodeled home, we know we make a great team with financial stability! We are thrilled to now grow our family through the joy of adoption.
Together we like to try new recipes and enjoy hosting dinners out on our back deck when the weather allows. In the summer we enjoy camping and kayaking while, in the winter, we love to go Christmas tree chopping and adding new outside lights to our home. We enjoy the teamwork and pride that comes with working on our home with our own two hands. Our home improvement projects give us opportunities to learn new skills and be creative with one another. We look forward to teaching your child all that we know and are excited to share our passion for camping and nature with them!
Meet Elizabeth (by Scott)
Liz has a loving and nurturing heart. She is always looking out for others and always puts them first. She loves taking care of people and helping out any way she can. She is also a very driven and determined individual. All of these aspects lead to her being successful in her career at our local hospital. People look up to her and know if they need anything, that she can accomplish any task no matter how big. She has the biggest heart for others, enjoys reading a good book, going camping, and kayaking. Liz will be a present and active mother, an example setter, and a teacher of Faith!
Meet Scott (by Elizabeth)
Scott is the organized and resourceful person in our home. He is always willing to go above and beyond to help others. His laid-back personality and his love for anything outdoor complete who he is. I admire his positive attitude, his constant smile, and his ability to do anything he wants by working hard and staying dedicated. You can usually find him climbing a mountain, taking his Jeep out for an adventure, or enjoying the company of his brothers. Kayaking, camping, and snowboarding are also among his favorite outdoor activities. With his natural leadership, I know he will set the perfect example as he navigates fatherhood and teaches your child his knowledge!
Our Family
We are blessed to live in the same town as both of our extended families. Sitting down to dinners and attending church on Sunday morning are some of our favorite things to do with our families! Having great relationships with our siblings and parents lets us be fully immersed in love and support; we look forward to sharing this experience. We are excited to raise our family surrounded by Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and Cousins. Our parents are especially excited to become first-time Grandparents!
Our Home in Idaho
We both grew up loving our home town and are excited to raise our family here! Our house is in historic downtown, close to many parks and restaurants that we enjoy visiting. Inside, we have made our four-bedroom house into the perfect home to raise our family. We are close to the local private school that Elizabeth attended in her youth and is just a few minutes from amazing views and activities. We have the mountains to our south and a beautiful canyon and river to our north; there are many opportunities for outdoor activities and fun!
Our Promise
We promise to always respect you and love your child unconditionally. We promise to always provide a safe stable environment worthy of promoting growth, love, laughter, and faith. We look forward to the opportunity to teach your child about God, nature, and to be the best parents we can be. We promise to always provide guidance and support while we listen to and support your child’s dreams and goals. We promise that your child will know their adoption story and grow up knowing they are loved and cherished.

Passing on our Traditions | We love spending time together, especially with our family. We most look forward to sharing our family traditions with your child! Every year, days before Thanksgiving, Elizabeth's family gathers to enjoy an evening of crafting homemade noodles that are a "Family Secret Recipe"! It's a time filled with fun and laughter that has been passed from Grandparents to Grandchildren! After Thanksgiving noodles have been enjoyed, we wake up early the next day to find the perfect Christmas tree! This is a special tradition for the two of us that we hope to share with your child! | |
