November is National Adoption Month; a time when we celebrate children being given a forever family through the blessing of adoption. It is a great time to pause and think about the redeeming value of adoption. Ephesians 1:5 says, “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.” (NLT)
According to that verse, all Christians were adopted! Some families get to experience this fantastic opportunity in the flesh. While not all of us are called to adopt, we can undoubtedly bring joy to those families that follow the Lord’s leading to open their homes to waiting kids. Adoptive families from all walks of life can benefit from the support of their church, family, and community.
November is a wonderful time to gather with others touched by the miracle of adoption and to give thanks for the blessings of adoption. Join us as we celebrate adoption! We seek to remember those who are daily blessed by adoption, and those who make adoption possible.

Lifetime Adoption
This month is an ideal opportunity to recognize adoption as a beautiful and intricate journey that unfolds over a lifetime. Rather than being a singular event, adoption is an ongoing experience filled with questions, challenges, and deeply meaningful moments of love and connection. As adoptive families embark on this path, having a strong support system is essential to help them navigate the ups and downs of their journey.
“We were able to get through our adoption process by faith, with the support of our family and friends and guidance from Lifetime,” shared adoptive mom Jessica. “We encourage others to be supportive of those who may be trying to grow their family through adoption. We’ve been motivated and learned from so many people touched by adoption on this journey.”
Lifetime Adoption is a licensed child-placing agency and has been a steadfast partner to many adoptive families, offering guidance before, during, and after adoption. Our adoption professionals provide important resources and support, helping families ask the difficult questions, work through unexpected challenges, and build healthy, supportive environments for the children they adopt. With Lifetime, families can feel confident they are not walking the adoption journey alone.
Adoption requires lots courage and love from birth mothers who make the selfless and difficult decision to place their children. Their role is often misunderstood, but it is important to honor their strength and the sacrifices they make out of love and hope for their children’s futures.

Since 1986, adoption expert Mardie Caldwell has been dedicated to bringing couples and birth parents together in order to fulfill their dreams.
“Many years ago, I was also searching for a child to adopt. We didn’t know where or how to get started. Through research, determination, and a prayer, our dream of a family became reality. I started with a plan, a notebook, assistance from a caring adoption consultant and a lot of hard work; this was my family I was building. We had a few heartaches along the way, but the pain of not having children was worse!
Within weeks we had three different birth mothers choose us. We were overwhelmed and delighted. Many unsettling events would take place before our adoption would be finalized, many months later. Little did I know that God was training and aligning me for the adoption work I now do today. It is my goal to share with our families the methods and plans which succeed and do not succeed. I believe adoption should be affordable and can be a wonderful “pregnancy” for the adoptive couple.
I have also been on both sides of infertility with the loss of seven pregnancies and then conceiving by new technology, giving birth to a healthy daughter. I have experienced first-hand the emotional pain of infertility and believe my experience allows me to serve your needs better.
It is my hope that for you, the prospective parents, your desire for a child will be fulfilled soon.”
