When you’re facing an unplanned pregnancy as a Christian woman, it can be difficult to know what you should do. Should you marry your baby’s father and become parents? Should you choose adoption and place your baby with adoptive parents? If you’re not ready to become a mom, adoption is a loving way to choose life for your baby.
When she found out she was pregnant, “T” (name hidden for privacy) was already parenting her two young children. She didn’t see that there would be a way to have the resources and money to feed another mouth. So, she chose adoption for her baby, as a way to provide a better life for him than she could. She contacted Lifetime to create an adoption plan for her baby boy, and chose his adoptive parents from a large selection of over 100 Christian couples.
Recently, she emailed her Adoption Coordinator at Lifetime:
“Thank you so much for helping me. I pray for you and your staff, keep praying for us. I read the Bible you sent me. Thank you for what you’ve done. I put everything towards my kids.
Just knowing I did what’s best for him is a blessing. I thank God he is with a great family who loves him. God knows my heart and I wanted him to have better than I could do for my kids now.”
